The Horizontal or Vertical Discharge Fan Forced Suspended Unit Heater is a 3,300 watt heater designed for 277V applications. This versatile unit can be installed for either vertical or horizontal discharge, featuring a robust 18 gauge steel cabinet housing finished with a long-lasting powder coat. The heaters utilize a spiral fin steel element with continuously brazed steel fins, enabling side draw through airflow. Each unit is equipped with individually adjustable louvers, allowing for directional control of airflow up to 15° from the straight horizontal position. Safety features include an automatic reset limit that de-energizes the heater in case of overheating and a fan override that purges residual heat at shutdown. The control compartment housing has a hinged and latched access door for easy access to wiring during installation and maintenance. Additionally, these suspended unit heaters come with a totally enclosed 1-speed permanently lubricated thermally protected motor with unit bearings. The product is UL approved and is backed by a 1-year limited warranty.
