The Horizontal or Vertical Discharge Fan Forced Suspended Unit Heaters are designed to provide efficient heating with a powerful 7,500 watt output at 277V. These heaters can be installed for either vertical or horizontal discharge applications and are constructed with an 18 gauge steel cabinet housing finished with a durable powder coat. They feature a spiral fin steel element with continuously brazed steel fins that facilitate side draw through airflow. The unit includes individually adjustable louvers allowing for directional control of airflow up to 15° from a straight horizontal position. Safety is ensured with an automatic reset limit that de-energizes the heater in case of overheating, and a fan override function that purges residual heat at shutdown. The control compartment housing is designed with a hinged and latched access door for easy wiring access during installation and maintenance. Additionally, the suspended unit heaters are equipped with a totally enclosed 1-speed permanently lubricated thermally protected motor with unit bearings, and they are UL approved, accompanied by a 1 year limited warranty.
