The Jet JTM-1050 milling machine features Meehanite castings, a heavy-duty hardened and ground 10 x 50 table, and high precision class 7 precision bearings to support the spindle, ensuring quality cuts with its precision bored and honed milling heads. The three-stage power downfeed with automatic stop enhances usability, while chrome lead screws on the X and Y axis and Turcite B on the same axes provide smooth operation. Additional features include a satin chrome finish on dials, a large diameter chromed quill, a spindle head that is internally cooled, and a no fuse breaker power connection. The machine is equipped with a heavy-duty motor drive and a chrome plated motor shaft with bearing support at the end, along with a one-piece quill pinion and shaft. Safety and precision are further enhanced with a heavy-duty spindle brake, locks on all movable surfaces, hardened and ground square vertical knee ways and cross ways, and adjustable gibs throughout. An internal coolant tank is built into the base for use with a coolant system (coolant pump not included), and the kit includes a tolerance test sheet, a one-shot lubrication system, way covers, a draw bar, and a toolbox with tools.
