The EnviroAlert EA400-12 critical-environment monitoring device is designed to provide visibility to two environmental zones: ambient temperature and an additional zone for monitoring temperature, humidity, or water presence. It features simultaneous operation of one on-board sensor and one additional external sensor, which is sold separately, and includes an easy-to-read LCD display with a tamper-proof lock setting. The device has an 8-event incident memory that records time and date, and it comes with an auxiliary output relay for a local audible alarm, which is not included. The alarm system includes an alarm silence feature with a 10-minute timer and up to a 120-minute programmable alarm time delay for each zone. It is important to note that the EA400-12 should not be placed inside a cooler or freezer; instead, a wired sensor should be connected to the device. Users can adjust sensor readings with an offset of up to 9.0. The power requirements are 12VDC at 120mA, and there is no on-board sensor included. The device allows for sensor-dependent low limit and high limit adjustments in a range from -58 to +302 F (-50 to +150 C). Additionally, it includes 4 configurable Form C (SPDT) alarm output relays (normally open/normally closed) and 1 non-configurable Form C (SPDT) auxiliary alarm output relay (normally open/normally closed).
