Waterbug® 350 ("WB350") is a water detection device designed for use in computer rooms, document storage areas, warehouses, sump pumps, and basements. This device features monitoring capabilities for the presence of water, utilizing a 9V battery for stand-alone operation (battery not included). The WB350 includes one standard unsupervised surface sensor (W-S-U) and can accept a total of six sensors (W-S-U - Global#B508520 & W-UC-U - Global#B508518), with each sensor capable of being located up to 100' (30.48m) away from the device for extensive coverage. For sensor extension, 18-22 AWG twisted pair wire is recommended. The device is powered by a 9VDC alkaline battery with a low battery alarm and has an approximate battery life of 1 to 2 years. It features a pulsed integrated audible alarm rated at 83 dB at 30cm at 9VDC and operates within a temperature range of 32 to 140°F (0 to 60°C) in a non-condensing environment, designed for indoor use only. The output is an open collector transistor (N.O. circuit only) with a maximum collector current of 30VDC at 25mA.
