Precision Brand® steel shim stocks are made from full hard, cold rolled, low carbon 1008-1010 steel for long-lasting durability. The material can be punched or sheared with minimum burrs and distortion. Each shim is clearly marked with material type, thickness, and lot number for full traceability. Rigorous quality control standards assure high accuracy and tight tolerance. The length of the shim is 100 inches, the width is 6 inches, and the thickness is 0.005 inches.
