The die button shims are designed to quickly adjust the height of sharpened die buttons and come in an assortment that includes three thicknesses: 0.005" made from 1095 blue tempered spring steel, and 0.015" and 0.032" made from 1075 tempered spring steel. The shims are compatible with nine different die button sizes ranging from 1/4" to 1". This kit not only extends the "life" of a die button but also saves time compared to hand punching custom shims. The large inner diameter accommodates various size die openings, thereby reducing the risk of "slug stacking."
