The Stainless Steel Shim is made from full hard, cold rolled, 300 series stainless steel and is exclusively offered by Precision Brand® as Branded® shim. Each shim has essential information clearly marked, including material type, material thickness, and lot number for complete traceability. This shim is widely utilized in applications that require corrosion resistance, such as conventional power plants, nuclear plants, oil and gas refineries, and desalination projects. It measures 150mm wide x 1.25m long x 0.40mm thick. Precision Brand® shim stock is commonly used for tool and die setup, alignment, new machine assembly, machine repair and maintenance, motor and pump mounting, short run and prototype work, as well as numerous other industrial applications.
