The Stainless Steel Shim from Precision Brand® is crafted from full hard, cold rolled, 300 series stainless steel, making it ideal for applications requiring corrosion resistance. The shim features clear markings for material type, thickness, and lot number, ensuring full traceability. It is commonly utilized in conventional power plants, nuclear facilities, oil and gas refineries, and desalination projects. The dimensions of the shim are 150mm wide x 1.25m long x 0.30mm thick. Its versatile applications include tool and die setup, alignment, new machine assembly, machine repair and maintenance, and the mounting of motors, pumps, and other machinery.
