The Stainless Steel Shim is made from a full hard, cold rolled, 300 series stainless steel and is the only product branded as Branded® shim by Precision Brand®. Each shim is clearly marked with essential information such as material type, thickness, and lot number for full traceability. This shim is widely utilized in applications requiring corrosion resistance, including conventional power plants, nuclear plants, oil and gas refineries, and desalination projects. It measures 6 inches wide by 60 inches long and has a thickness of 0.001 inches. Precision Brand® shim stock is suitable for various applications, including tool and die setup, alignment, new machine assembly, machine repair and maintenance, and the mounting of motors, pumps, and other machinery.
