The Stainless Steel Shim is constructed from full hard, cold rolled, 300 series stainless steel, marking Precision Brand® as the sole manufacturer to provide Branded® shim. This shim features clear markings indicating material type, material thickness, and lot number, ensuring full traceability. It is designed for applications that require corrosion resistance and is commonly utilized in conventional power plants, nuclear plants, oil and gas refineries, and desalination projects. The dimensions of the shim are 6 inches wide, 60 inches long, and 0.002 inches thick. Precision Brand® shim stock is particularly beneficial for tool and die setup, alignment, new machine assembly, machine repair and maintenance, mounting of motors and pumps, short run and prototype work, as well as various other industrial applications.
