The Stainless Steel Shim is constructed from full hard, cold rolled, 300 series stainless steel and is uniquely offered by Precision Brand® as Branded® shim. Each shim is clearly marked with essential information including material type, material thickness, and lot number for comprehensive traceability. This shim is designed for applications that require corrosion resistance and is utilized in environments such as conventional power plants, nuclear plants, oil and gas refineries, and desalination projects. It measures 6 inches wide, 60 inches long, and has a thickness of 0.004 inches. Precision Brand® shim stock is commonly applied in tool and die setup, alignment, new machine assembly, machine repair and maintenance, and the mounting of motors, pumps, and other machinery; it's also suitable for short run and prototype work, along with various other industrial applications.
