Brass shim is made from a half hard, cold rolled, 260 alloy brass and provides essential information clearly marked on the shim, including material type, material thickness, and lot number for full traceability. It is utilized in applications where corrosion issues are present due to its low magnetic permeability, and it possesses excellent forming qualities, allowing it to be lightly drawn, blanked, or stamped. The shim measures 6 inches wide by 60 inches long and has a thickness of 0.002 inches.
