The Precision Brand® shim stock is made from 110 annealed copper, renowned for its excellent conductivity of electricity and heat, as well as its ductility and malleability which facilitate ease in metalworking. This shim stock measures 6" wide by 100" long by 0.008" thick and is widely utilized in various applications including tool and die setup, alignment, new machine assembly, machine repair and maintenance, and the mounting of motors, pumps, and other machines. It also serves well in short run and prototype work, along with a myriad of other industrial applications, particularly in pilot production runs where material accuracy and economy are critical.
