Tool Black® liquid, 1 quart bottle (pack of 6) is a fast, inexpensive alternative to black oxide that imparts a tough, dull black protective finish to ferrous metal parts. It is ideal for prototypes, repair parts, and general machine work, and is specifically designed for use on small immersible parts. The application should be performed at room temperature as a cold application. Each quart of Tool Black® solution covers approximately 50 to 75 square feet, although coverage may vary depending on the application technique. Please note that Tool Black® products cannot be shipped via air transportation.
