The Precision Brand® plastic slotted shim is specifically designed for mounting and leveling smaller, fractional horsepower motors, various gauges and instruments, and light-duty plant machinery, offering a more economical solution when the properties of stainless steel slotted shims are not required. However, it is important to note that the plastic slotted shim is not recommended for use with larger, heavier motors.
