The Precision Brand® plastic slotted shim is made from high-quality, color-coded plastic material, designed to experience minimal compression during use. The shim dimensions are Size AA at 1" x 1" with a slot size of 5/16". It features a tab that facilitates easier and safer shim placement, eliminating the need to place hands under machinery during installation or removal. Each thickness is easily identifiable by its unique color, making it convenient for users. This product is ideal for mounting and leveling smaller, fractional horsepower motors, various gauges and instruments, and light-duty plant machinery. However, it is important to note that the plastic slotted shim is not recommended for larger, heavier motors.
