The Precision Brand® slotted shim kit is made from 300 series stainless steel, providing resistance to rust and corrosion. The dimensions of each shim are 5" x 5" with a slot size of 1-5/8". The design includes a tab that facilitates easier and safer shim placement, removing the need for manual hand placement under machinery during installation or removal. Each shim is clearly marked with thickness in both decimal and metric measurements. These slotted shims are an economical solution for addressing alignment and leveling issues in motors, pumps, generators, and various plant machinery, significantly reducing labor costs by eliminating the need for hand cutting and decreasing downtime by streamlining shim preparation.
