The product is constructed from 300 series stainless steel, offering resistance to rust and corrosion. It is sized at 2" x 2" with a slot size of 5/8". The included tab facilitates easier and safer shim placement, removing the necessity to place hands underneath machinery during installation or removal. Each shim is clearly marked with thickness in both decimal and metric measurements. The Precision Brand® slotted shim effectively addresses alignment and leveling challenges associated with motors, pumps, generators, and various other plant machinery. These slotted shims are designed to be economical, safe, and accurate, thereby reducing labor costs by eliminating the need for hand cutting and minimizing downtime through the elimination of shim preparation.
