The Stainless Steel Slotted Shim Kit is comprised of 300 series stainless steel that effectively resists rust and corrosion, along with a proprietary elastomer Sof' shoe shim that features unique flow and set characteristics to fill irregular gaps. This all-in-one assortment is designed to address alignment and leveling problems on motors, pumps, generators, and other plant machinery, all conveniently packaged in a durable metal box. The kit includes stainless steel slotted shims and Sof' shoe shims in four sizes: A - 2" x 2", B - 3" x 3", C - 4" x 4", and D - 5" x 5". Each size of the stainless steel slotted shim is supplied with 5 pieces in thicknesses of 0.001", 0.002", 0.003", 0.004", 0.005", 0.010", 0.015", 0.020", 0.025", 0.050", 0.075", 0.100", and 0.125". The Sof' shoe shim includes 5 pieces in thicknesses of 0.020" and 0.045". This comprehensive assortment helps reduce labor costs by minimizing the need for hand cutting and helps eliminate downtime by removing the need for shim preparation.
