The Precision Brand® plastic slotted shim kit is made from high-quality, color-coded plastic material designed to minimize compression during use. Each shim measures Size AA at 1" x 1" with a slot size of 5/16". The innovative tab design facilitates easier and safer shim placement, eliminating the need for hands to be placed under machinery during installation or removal. Each thickness is color-coded for easy identification. This plastic slotted shim is ideal for mounting and leveling smaller fractional horsepower motors, various gages and instruments, and light-duty plant machinery, providing a more economical alternative when the properties of stainless steel slotted shims are not required; however, it is not recommended for larger, heavier motors.
