The Precision Brand® plastic slotted shim is made from high-quality, color-coded plastic material that ensures minimal compression during use. With dimensions of Size AA - 1" x 1" and a slot size of 5/16", the shim features a tab that facilitates easier and safer shim placement while eliminating the need to place hands under machinery during installation or removal. Each thickness is easily identifiable by a distinct color, making it convenient for users. This plastic slotted shim is ideal for mounting and leveling smaller, fractional horsepower motors, various gauges and instruments, and light-duty plant machinery. It serves as a more economical alternative when the properties of stainless steel slotted shims are unnecessary. However, it is not recommended for use with larger, heavier motors.
