The Precision Brand® Plastic Slotted Shim Kit includes high-quality, color-coded plastic shims that minimize compression during use. The dimensions of the shim are Size A - 2" x 2" with a slot size of 5/8". Each thickness is easily identified by its own color, allowing for quick selection. The included tab enhances shim placement safety and convenience by eliminating the need to place hands under machinery during installation or removal. This product is specifically designed for mounting and leveling smaller, fractional horsepower motors, various gauges and instruments, and light-duty plant machinery. It serves as a more economical alternative where the properties of stainless steel slotted shims are not required, but it is important to note that plastic slotted shims should not be used for larger, heavier motors.
