The assortment of 6" wide by 12" long sheets contains 1 each of the following thicknesses: 0.001", 0.0015", 0.002", 0.003", 0.004", 0.005", 0.006", 0.007", 0.008", 0.010", 0.012", and 0.015". Made from a half hard, cold rolled, 260 alloy brass, the Precision Brand® shim is the only Branded® shim available, featuring clear markings of material type, thickness, and lot number for full traceability. This shim is suitable for applications where corrosion is a concern, exhibiting low magnetic permeability and excellent forming qualities, allowing for light drawing, blanking, or stamping. It is widely utilized in tool and die setup, alignment, new machine assembly, machine repair and maintenance, and the mounting of motors, pumps, and other machinery, including short run and prototype work.
