The Haws® instantaneous heater for eyewash station model TWBS.EW.H is a prepackaged, fully engineered, and tested tempering system that provides tempered water instantaneously. This system is designed to increase cold water temperature by a minimum of 34°F (19°C) at a flow rate of 4 GPM (15.1 L) and 68°F (38°C) at 2.0 GPM (7.5 L), making it suitable for a single eyewash application. The outlet water temperature is factory set at 80°F (26°C). The system includes a UL listed 20 kW electrical instantaneous water heater, a hot shutoff valve, a bypass valve, an in-line 50 x 50 mesh filter, and an outlet temperature gauge. It requires a flowing pressure of 45 - 90 PSI (3 - 6 ATM) and has an inlet and outlet size of 1/2" IPS. The electrical supply is 480 VAC, 3-phase, 3 wire and ground, with 24 amps per phase, and it is intended for indoor use only.
