The Haws® combination shower and Soft-Flo eyewash SS receptor and freeze protection bleed valve model 8300.158 is designed to integrate a variety of safety features in emergency situations. It includes an Axion® MSR hydrodynamic showerhead that provides a flow rate of 20 GPM (gallons per minute), a stainless steel 11" round bowl, and a stainless steel eyewash yoke assembly equipped with green Soft-Flo ABS plastic eyewash anti-surge heads that feature integral flow controls and dust covers. The unit is fitted with chrome-plated brass stay-open shower and eyewash ball valves featuring stainless steel balls and stems, along with an automatic thermal actuator freeze protection bleed valve that opens fully at 35°F (1.7°C) and closes when the water temperature rises to 42°F (5.6°C). Additionally, the kit includes a powder-coated cast-iron 9" (22.9 cm) diameter floor flange, a universal sign, and self-adhesive high visibility safety green and bright yellow stripes, as well as a 1-1/4" NPT supply connection.
