The Haws® 120 VAC freeze-resistant combination shower and eye wash station, model 8317CTFP, is designed to provide reliable protection in extreme conditions. This unit features a 120 VAC cable-heated combination shower and eye/face wash with a green ABS plastic 10-5/8" (26.9 cm) showerhead showcasing Axion® MSR hydrodynamic design and integral self-regulating 20 GPM flow control. The Axion MSR eye/face wash head uses inverted directional laminar flow, ensuring zero vertical velocity, and includes an integral 4 GPM flow control. Key components include chrome-plated brass shower and eyewash ball valves with stainless steel ball and stem, a separate ball valve activated hose spray, and an automatic thermal actuator freeze protection bleed valve. The system is equipped with thermostatically controlled electric heat traced cable insulated with 3/4” (1.9 cm) material and protected by a green ABS plastic jacket, allowing operation in ambient temperatures down to -30 F. Additionally, it includes a powder-coated cast-iron 9" (22.9 cm) diameter floor flange, a universal sign, and a 1-1/4" IPS supply. The unit is rated Class 1, Div 2, Group B, C & D with a .7 amp draw and a 1.25 amp maximum, with a Class I, Div I option available upon request.
