The High Speed Steel Ground Threads TMX Hand Tap Set includes three taps with different chamfer styles: taper chamfer with an 8-10 thread chamfer length, plug chamfer with a 3-5 thread chamfer length, and bottoming chamfer with a 1-2 thread length. The set features M4.0 x .70 D4 taps manufactured according to ISO metric standards, made from HSS TMX material. Each hand tap is designed with right-hand cutting and includes four straight flutes for improved chip removal. Additionally, these ISO metric taps come equipped with ANSI shanks, ensuring compatibility with common drill setups.
