The high speed steel TMX spiral point ground flute hand tap features a plug chamfer with a 3-5 thread length, specifically the M3.0 x .50 D3 spiral point model. This ISO metric HSS TMX hand tap is ground with a right-hand (RH) design and has 2 flutes. The ISO metric taps come equipped with ANSI shanks and are designed to eject chips forward, commonly referred to as gun taps, making them ideal for through holes.
