Metallic flexible hoses are designed to reduce pipe wall noise transmission, prevent pipe fatigue, simplify alignment problems, and reduce equipment flange stress. The hoses are constructed with a bronze hose that is covered by a tightly woven bronze braid, featuring close-pitched corrugations for maximum flexibility. The Type CPSB model includes female copper sweat fittings on both ends. This braided bronze hose with copper sweat ends is suitable for all services except refrigerant and is not recommended for steam applications. Copper lines provide virtually no stiffness or mass, making them ideal for various installations.
