Metallic flexible hoses are designed to reduce pipe wall noise transmission, prevent pipe fatigue, simplify alignment issues, and decrease equipment flange stress. These hoses are constructed from annular corrugated 304 stainless steel tubing, which is covered by a tightly woven 304 stainless steel braid. The closely pitched corrugations provide maximum flexibility. The Type FFL features fixed x floating raised face flanges, with the floating flange on one side facilitating easier alignment of bolt holes during installation. Additionally, the raised face flanges offer superior sealing capabilities compared to traditional flat face flanges.
