Metallic flexible hoses are designed to minimize pipe wall noise transmission, prevent pipe fatigue, simplify alignment issues, and reduce equipment flange stress. These hoses are constructed from annular corrugated 304 stainless steel tubing, which is covered by a tightly woven 304 stainless steel braid, ensuring durability and flexibility. The corrugations are closely pitched to provide maximum flexibility. The Type FFL configuration includes fixed and floating raised face flanges; the floating flange on one side facilitates easier alignment of bolt holes during installation. The raised face flanges offer improved sealing compared to traditional flat face flanges, enhancing the overall performance of the system.
