Metallic flexible hoses are designed to reduce pipe wall noise transmission, prevent pipe fatigue, simplify alignment problems, and reduce equipment flange stress. These hoses are manufactured from annular corrugated 304 stainless steel tubing, which is covered by a tightly woven 304 stainless steel braid, ensuring durability and flexibility. The corrugations are closely pitched for maximum flexibility. The Type FFL hoses come with fixed and floating raised face flanges; the floating flange on one side facilitates easier alignment of the bolt holes during installation. Additionally, the raised face flanges provide a superior seal compared to traditional flat face flanges.
