Metallic flexible hoses are designed to reduce pipe wall noise transmission, prevent pipe fatigue, simplify alignment problems, and reduce equipment flange stress. These hoses are manufactured from annular corrugated 304 stainless steel tubing, which is covered by a tightly woven 304 stainless steel braid. The corrugations are closely pitched to ensure maximum flexibility. The Type FFL configuration features fixed and floating raised face flanges, where the floating flange on one side facilitates easier alignment of bolt holes during installation. Additionally, the raised face flanges provide superior sealing capabilities compared to traditional flat face flanges.
