Metallic flexible hoses are designed to reduce pipe wall noise transmission, prevent pipe fatigue, simplify alignment problems, and reduce equipment flange stress. These hoses are manufactured from annular corrugated 304 stainless steel tubing, which is covered by a tightly woven 304 stainless steel braid. The corrugations are closely pitched to provide maximum flexibility. The Type GN model features carbon steel grooved fittings on each end.
