The unique JSG-96 benchtop sander combines a 9" disc and a 6" x 48" belt for workshop versatility. While small and compact, the JSG-96 offers industrial 3/4 HP power while taking up a small footprint on your bench. It features a large cast iron table with preset stops at 90° and 45°, allowing usage of the belt sander vertically, horizontally, or anywhere in between. The exclusive dual thumbscrew belt tracking adjustment locks to keep the belt on track during use, and the graphite covered steel platen runs cooler, increasing machine and belt life. A specially designed belt guard allows full use of the 6" belt width and length, while the rubber-coated drive drum enhances grip on the sanding belt, reducing slippage. The tracking adjustment knob with a quick-lock handle also helps maintain belt alignment, and the quick-release belt tension lever simplifies belt changes. Additionally, a single 4" dust port located on the back of the base efficiently collects dust from both the belt and disc, and the powerful 3/4 HP motor is capable of handling the toughest sanding operations.
