The unique JSG-96OS sander combines a 9" disc and 6" x 48" belt for workshop versatility, featuring a powerful 3/4 HP motor that efficiently handles tough sanding operations while maintaining a compact footprint. The kit includes a large cast iron table with preset stops at 90° and 45°, allowing for vertical, horizontal, or angled use. It boasts an exclusive dual thumbscrew belt tracking adjustment that locks to keep the belt on track during use, as well as a graphite-covered steel platen that runs cooler, enhancing the machine and belt life. Additionally, a specially designed belt guard provides full access to the 6" belt width and length, while a rubber-coated drive drum enhances grip and reduces slippage. The sander is equipped with a tracking adjustment knob featuring a quick-lock handle to maintain belt alignment and a quick-release belt tension lever for easy belt changes. A single 4" dust port at the back of the base ensures effective dust collection from both the belt and disc.
