Coxreels® 1125 series hand crank and motorized hose reels feature a sturdy one-piece all welded steel "A" frame base with an exclusive low profile outlet riser and open drum slot design that ensures a non-crimping, flat smooth hose wrap. The external fluid path includes a machined from solid brass 90° full-flow NPT swivel inlet (nickel plated steel swivel on 1" models) with nitrile seals (Aflas seals on 1" models), while high pressure HP prefix models feature an electroless nickel plated steel 90° full-flow NPT swivel inlet with Aflas swivel seals. The reels have permanently lubricated self-aligning pillow block bearings for smooth operation, an adjustable tension brake to prevent free-wheeling, and a long-handled locking pin to secure the reel during transport or storage. Motor-driven models use a reliable direct gear drive for quiet, smooth retraction without a chain, while hand crank models feature a solid steel direct hand crank with a smooth round handle. Constructed of professional grade heavy-duty steel, the reels undergo a durable proprietary CPC™ powder coat process, and their rolled edges and ribbed CNC robotically spun discs provide added strength, durability, hose protection, and operator safety.
