The Sub-FHP AC gearmotors are designed for continuous duty, general purpose applications and are totally enclosed to ensure durability. They operate at 60/50 Hz, with the exception of the hi-torque single-phase models, which are rated for 60 Hz only. The gearmotors feature a rugged aluminum die-cast housing that provides maximum support for gears and bearings. The precision machined gearing is hardened to enhance load capability and is designed to meet AGMA class 9 standards, capable of withstanding momentary shock overloads of 200%. These gearmotors include oversized output bearings for increased overhung load capacity and longevity, while the high-carbon alloy output shaft ensures maximum strength and rigidity. Additionally, all needle bearing journals are precision-ground post-heat treatment for superior finish and fit. The heavy-duty industrial oil seals are single lip and spring-loaded, effectively keeping lubricants contained and preventing dirt ingress. Gears and bearings are splash lubricated using permanent, heavy-duty gear oil.
