The Sub-FHP AC gearmotors are designed for continuous duty in general purpose applications, featuring a totally enclosed construction. These gearmotors operate at 60/50 Hz, except for the high-torque single-phase models, which are rated for 60 Hz only. Each gearbox is built with a rugged aluminum die cast housing that ensures optimal support for gears and bearings. The precision machined gearing is hardened to enhance load capability and is rated according to AGMA class 9 standards, equipped to handle momentary shock overloads of up to 200%. The oversized output bearings provide increased overhung load capacity and durability, while the high-carbon alloy output shaft contributes to overall strength and rigidity. All needle bearing journals undergo precision grinding post heat treatment to achieve superior finish and fit. Heavy-duty industrial oil seals with a single lip and spring loading effectively retain lubricant and prevent contamination, and the gears and bearings are lubricated with permanent, heavy-duty gear oil.
