Three-phase motors are totally enclosed for continuous duty and suitable for general purpose applications. Standard on all these ratings is the exclusive inverter rated insulation system (IRIS), which provides superior protection against voltage spikes induced by variable frequency drives. The motors feature many superior mechanical attributes, including double shielded ball bearings in the motor, needle bearings in the parallel shaft gearboxes, and ball bearings in the right angle (worm) gearboxes. A steel conduit box is provided as standard, and the complete gearmotor is furnished with high gloss hardened black enamel paint.
