The Sub-FHP AC gearmotors are designed for continuous duty in general purpose applications and are totally enclosed. They operate at 60/50 Hz, with the exception of the Hi-Torque single-phase models, which are rated for 60 Hz only. The gearbox features a rugged aluminum die cast housing that provides maximum support for gears and bearings. The precision machined gearing is hardened to ensure maximum load capability and is designed to meet AGMA Class 9 standards, capable of withstanding momentary shock overloads of 200%. Oversized output bearings enhance overhung load capacity and extend the gearmotor's lifespan. A high-carbon alloy output shaft ensures maximum strength and rigidity, while all needle bearing journals are precision-ground after heat treating for optimal finish and fit. Single lip, spring loaded, heavy-duty industrial oil seals effectively retain lubricant and prevent dirt ingress. Additionally, the gears and bearings are splash lubricated with permanent, heavy-duty gear oil.
