The rugged, three-phase jet pump motors are designed for industrial service and feature a NEMA 56 C face. The stator is impregnated with a heavy varnish system and utilizes high-temperature copper magnet wire to ensure high overload capacity. An oversized gasketed conduit box includes a grounding provision, while the 380 alloy aluminum endplate is equipped with a cast bearing seat insert. A neoprene shaft flinger effectively repels moisture and other contaminants, and a mechanical bearing lock at the shaft end controls axial movement. The motors are UL and CSA recognized, and the shaft is made from 303 stainless steel with a threaded design. The bearings consist of 203 double-sealed ball bearings at the shaft-end and 203 double-shielded ball bearings at the switch-end, with the shaft-end bearing locked to limit axial movement of the shaft. The explosion-proof motors incorporate automatic overload protection, while other models do not feature thermal overload protection.
