The rugged three-phase jet pump motors are designed for industrial service and feature a NEMA 56 C face for compatibility. The stator is impregnated with a heavy varnish system, while high-temperature copper magnet wire is utilized for high overload capacity. A grounding provision is included inside an oversized gasketed conduit box, and the construction incorporates a 380 alloy aluminum endplate with a cast bearing seat insert. A neoprene shaft flinger is provided to repel moisture and other contaminants, and a mechanical bearing lock at the shaft end controls axial movement. The motors are UL and CSA recognized for safety and compliance. The shaft is made from 303 stainless steel and is threaded, while the bearings consist of a 203 double-sealed ball bearing at the shaft-end and a 203 double-shielded ball bearing at the switch-end. The shaft-end bearing is locked to limit axial movement of the shaft. For electrical specifications, explosion-proof motors are equipped with automatic overload protection, whereas other models do not include thermal overload protection.
