The Edwards 95 series Adaptabeacon light duty strobe lights with internal horn feature a weatherproof optically designed Fresnel lens and are rated at 85 dB at 10 feet (3.05 m), providing immunity to shock and vibration. The cast base can double as a junction box, and these units are specifically designed for light duty applications in industrial, commercial, and institutional settings requiring short term intermittent visual signaling. The design incorporates a series of complementing Fresnels that enhance light dispersion with each strobe flash, improving viewer perception and increasing beam distance when using external Fresnel lenses. The integrated trigger and timing circuits within the power supply ensure easy operation, while replacement costs are minimized as only the strobe tube needs to be replaced. These strobe lights can be installed indoors or outdoors, allowing for direct 1/2" (13 mm) conduit or box mounting on a 4" (102 mm) octagon box at any angle, with vertical installation recommended for optimal beam width projection. Weatherproof installations require vertical mounting with the dome facing up, and corner mounting is possible with the Cat. No. CBR corner mount bracket or wall mounting using the Cat. No. WBR wall mount bracket. For additional protection against lens breakage, the Cat. No. 92-GRD lens guard is available. These strobe lights are ideal for environments with high ambient light levels that challenge traditional rotating or flashing signals, as well as in scenarios where ambient noise makes audible signals hard to hear, commonly used for signaling equipment malfunctions, security intrusions, or identifying problem locations.
