The Edwards 868STR Adaptabeacon series is a bright low current draw, high decibel surface mount combination electronic horn/strobe designed for both indoor and outdoor use. This unit features terminals for easy wiring and is housed in a gray flame resistant, engineered thermoplastic housing. It includes five lens colors and a 150 candela strobe with a clear lens, complete with a gasket and a weatherproof surface back box for mounting. The strobe and horn can be operated independently, and the strobe tube offers a lifespan of 1000 hours. The supplied gray corrosion resistant weatherproof surface box has dimensions of 5 59/64" (150mm) square by 3 13/32" (87mm) deep, making it suitable for outdoor wall mounting in manufacturing sites where a distinctive visual or audible signal is needed for timing, scheduling, paging, process control, and general alarm applications.
