The Edwards 869STR Adaptabeacon series features bright low current draw and high dB output surface mount combination electronic horn/strobes designed for indoor flush mount use. This kit includes terminals for easy wiring and offers five lens colors with a 150 candela strobe available in a clear lens. The housing is made from engineered thermoplastic that is gray and flame resistant, and the units are equipped with a 1000-hour strobe tube, with diode polarized units also available. The device is engineered for mounting in a standard 4" (102mm) square backbox with an extension ring, requiring a total minimum depth of 3" (76mm) (not supplied). The strobe and horn can be operated independently, making the 869STR Adaptabeacon suitable for use in manufacturing sites and ideal for applications requiring distinctive visual or audible signals for timing, scheduling, paging, process control, and general alarms.
