The Edwards 869STR Adaptabeacon series consists of bright low current, high decibel surface mount combination electronic horn/strobes designed for indoor flush mount use. This kit includes a gray flame-resistant housing, terminals for easy wiring, and five lens colors options. The unit features a 150 candela strobe with a clear lens and is available with diode polarized units. Constructed from engineered thermoplastic housing, it boasts a 1000-hour strobe tube lifespan. The device can be mounted in a standard 4" (102mm) square backbox with an extension ring, requiring a total minimum depth of 3" (76mm) (not supplied). Both the strobe and horn can be operated independently. The 869STR Adaptabeacon is ideal for manufacturing sites where distinctive visual or audible signals are necessary for timing, scheduling, paging, process control, and general alarm applications.
