The Edwards 869STR Adaptabeacon series comprises bright low current draw high dB output surface mount combination electronic horn/strobes designed for indoor flush mount use. This unit features a gray flame-resistant housing, five lens colors, and a 150 candela strobe with a clear lens. It includes diode polarized units for enhanced performance, engineered thermoplastic housing, and a 1000-hour strobe tube. The device is designed to mount in a standard 4" (102mm) square backbox with an extension ring, requiring a total minimum depth of 3" (76mm), which is not supplied. Both the strobe and horn can be operated independently, making the 869STR Adaptabeacon suitable for applications where a distinctive visual or audible signal is necessary, such as timing, scheduling, paging, process control, and general alarm notifications in manufacturing environments.
