The Edwards 869STR Adaptabeacon series consists of bright, low current draw, high decibel surface mount combination electronic horn/strobes designed for indoor flush mount use. Featuring a gray flame resistant housing, the kit includes components for easy wiring and is compatible with a standard 4" (102mm) square backbox with an extension ring, requiring a total minimum depth of 3" (76mm) (not supplied). The device offers five lens color options and features a 150 candela strobe (clear lens) along with diode polarized units available. The engineered thermoplastic housing enhances durability, while the strobe tube is rated for 1000 hours of operation. The horn and strobe can operate independently, making the 869STR Adaptabeacon suitable for various applications such as timing, scheduling, paging, process control, and general alarms in manufacturing settings.
